HighSCORE Festival, under the young and creative artistic direction of Giovanni Albini and the executive production of Paolo Fosso, is today’s leading Italian Contemporary Music Festival offering for 2023 a unique residency with masterclasses specifically shaped for composers, one of the «ten summer festivals to get the contemporary music blood pumping» (Composition: Today). The upcoming 13th edition (July 17-29, 2023) features an outstanding internationally recognized faculty roster: Steven Mackey and Sarah Kirkland Snider, guests of honor; Amy Beth Kirsten, David Serkin Ludwig and Dmitri Tymoczko, the core of our composition faculty. The guest musicians who will perform live the music submitted by participant composers are Alberto Barberis, Bera Romairone (Duo QORA!), and Quartetto Zuena. Application deadline is April 15, 2023.
